Gov. Akeredolu - " Ajayi is my cousin.., I made the wrong choice"

Rotimi Akeredolu, the Governor of Ondo State has admitted that he made a mistake while choosing his deputy governor. 

Governor Akeredolu's deputy is Agboola Ajayi, both do not see eye to eye in the Ondo state politics, that when Governor Akeredolu was infected with coronavirus Agboola Ajayi demanded for power to be handed over to him. Agboola Ajayi has now defected to the peoples democratic party (PDP) but has refused to resign as deputy governor of the state. 

Governor Akeredolu admitted his mistake when he visited party delegates in Igbekebo in Ese-Odo council area, ahead of the primaries on Monday.

He said, "Despite the criticism and attack from various quarters that Ajayi is my cousin, l felt that l had made a choice but a wrong choice.”

The Governor also said he was happy that Ajayi showed his true colours, describing his exit from APC as a cleansing.

Nigeria Central Bank Governor Breached The Quarantine To Fly Family To The UK

                 Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele, used a private jet to fly his wife and children to the United Kingdom in violation of the closure of the Nigerian airspace during COVID-19 lockdown across the country. The Nigerian Government had announced that only essential travels will be permitted by air across the country but flight manifest sighted by SaharaReporters shows that  Emefiele used a private jet – a Global Express Bombardier 550 luxury jet with registration number N104DA – belonging to businessman, Aliko Dangote. The former King of Spain leaves the country over alleged corruption

Spain's former monarch King Juan Carlos has left the country amid accusations he had a £58.5 million stashed in an offshore account.  The Spain authorities opened an investigation involving Juan Carlos in a high speed rail in Saudi Arabia. The money was alleged to be given to Juan Carlos by the former king of Saudi Arabia King Abdullah. His destination is unknown but he said he would be available if prosecutors needed to interview him. The Spanish royal family website published a letter from Juan Carlos to his son King Felipe VI on Monday saying, "I am informing you of my considered decision to move during this period, out of Spain."    The report against the former King of Spain alleged that he transferred a large sum of money to a friend in what investigators consider as an attempt to hide the money from authorities.
