St. Louis couple, McCloskeys, that waved guns at protesters near their posh property charged to court
The couple, Mr. and Mrs. McCloskey who confronted a group of Black Lives Matter protesters and waved their guns at them have been charged. The incident in question happened in St. Louis Missouri last month but they were charged on Monday.
The BLM protesters mistakenly entered their posh property when they were trying to go to protest at the Mayor's house, Mark and Patricia McCloskey came out waving their guns to confront them.
The McCloskey's lawyer Joel Schwartz, said the charges were “disheartening,” insisting “unequivocally” that the McCloskeys committed no crime. He added that the right to free speech ought to be “balanced with the Second Amendment and Missouri law, which entitle each of us to protect our home and family from potential threats
