Bust Of Cecil Rhodes Decapitated

     The damaged bust of colonialist Cecil John Rhodes after being vandalised in Cape Town on Tuesday.
The head of Cecil Rhodes the 19th-century slave trader has been chopped off from its bust on the slopes of Table Mountain, Cape Town South Africa. This incident was reported by park rangers on Tuesday.

 Lauren Clayton Spokesperson of the South Africa National Parks said rangers patrolling the Table Mountain cam across the disfigured bust during their routine patrol on Monday. 

She said the incident likely occurred on Sunday night or Monday morning and no one has claimed responsibility.

 The bust which was completed in 1912 has been vandalized on many occasions



Last month the Oxford University Students in the UK called for the Rhodes statue in the university to be removed.
