Middle East Airlines and Turkish Airlines collide in Lagos, Nigeria

      



There has been a collision between two airplanes at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos on Wednesday. 


The two airplanes are an Airbus A330-243 owned by Middle East Airlines and a Boeing 777 airplane belonging to Turkish Airlines.

The Turkish Airlines cargo flight was parked at the tarmac when the Middle East Airline taxiing ran into it. 

The passengers in the Middle East Airline had to disembark when the airline ran into the Turkish airline.

International flights are yet to commence full operation after the lockdown, the Presidential Taskforce on COVID-19 are still in talks with the Ministry of Aviation towards the resumption of international flights in the country.
