The Nigerian Police Force has announced that 2 of their officers taped in a video which has gone viral have been arrested. This was made known by the police spokesman Frank Mba.

The police made this known in a statement released by its spokesperson Frank Mba on Friday, July 24, describing the act as "discreditable and unprofessional" Mba said three police officers and one civilian accomplice who engaged in the inhumane treatment of the victim have been identified. 

The police PRO gave their names as ASP Tijani Olatunji and Inspr Gboyega Oyeniyi, adding that they have been arrested. 
Mba also said the erring officers are being detained at the Lagos state Criminal Investigation Department (CID) detention facility in Panti, Yaba Lagos.
