MacKenzie Bezos, novelist and the ex - wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has revealed she has donated $1.7 billion to 116 charities over the past one year. MacKenzie Bezos, the second richest woman in the world with a net worth of $60 billion announced this on Tuesday.
    The ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who revealed Tuesday she¿ll now take on her middle name and go by MacKenzie Scott, is the second-richest woman in the world with a fortune of $60billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaire Index

The ex wife of Jeff Bezos stated that a large proportion of the money went to racial equality and justice causes. She donated $586.7 million to racial equality charities. She made the pledge in 2019 after her divorce. In her pledge she promised to give half her fortune to charities.

Nigeria Central Bank Governor Breached The Quarantine To Fly Family To The UK

                 Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele, used a private jet to fly his wife and children to the United Kingdom in violation of the closure of the Nigerian airspace during COVID-19 lockdown across the country. The Nigerian Government had announced that only essential travels will be permitted by air across the country but flight manifest sighted by SaharaReporters shows that  Emefiele used a private jet – a Global Express Bombardier 550 luxury jet with registration number N104DA – belonging to businessman, Aliko Dangote. The former King of Spain leaves the country over alleged corruption

Spain's former monarch King Juan Carlos has left the country amid accusations he had a £58.5 million stashed in an offshore account.  The Spain authorities opened an investigation involving Juan Carlos in a high speed rail in Saudi Arabia. The money was alleged to be given to Juan Carlos by the former king of Saudi Arabia King Abdullah. His destination is unknown but he said he would be available if prosecutors needed to interview him. The Spanish royal family website published a letter from Juan Carlos to his son King Felipe VI on Monday saying, "I am informing you of my considered decision to move during this period, out of Spain."    The report against the former King of Spain alleged that he transferred a large sum of money to a friend in what investigators consider as an attempt to hide the money from authorities.
