Wife writes obituary of husband who died of COVID-19 complications, blames Trump and others


A woman whose husband,David Naggy,79, passed away from COVI-19 complications in ICU in Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview, Texas did not hold back her words when writing the obituary which was published in a newspaper. The late husband has other underlining health issues. Stacey, the widow, said the death was needless and apportioned some blame to the Trump and other politicians. Below is the obituary.

The Obituary reads: "David W. Nagy passed away on 07/22/20 in the ICU at Christus Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview. He suffered greatly from the ravages of the COVID-19 virus and the separation from his much loved family who were not allowed at his bedside.

"He leaves behind his inconsolable wife Stacey, his five children Heath, Stephanie, Heather, David and Victoria, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.

"David’s death was needless. The blame for his death and the deaths of all the other innocent people, falls on Trump, Abbott and all the other politicians who did not take this pandemic seriously and were more concerned with their popularity and votes than lives."

It continues: "Also to blame are the many ignorant, self centered and selfish people who refused to follow the advice of the medical professionals, believing their 'right' not to wear a mask was more important than killing innocent people.

"Dave did everything he was supposed to do, but you did not. Shame on all of you, and may Karma find you all!"

John Robert Lewis, US civil rights legend, congress man has died aged 80. He died of pancreatic cancer. He was the last of the "Big 6" to die. He was a follower and colleague of Martin Luther King Jr. Lewis was a democrat congress man for Georgia's 5th congressional district for over 3 decades.  In 1965 aged 25 he helped organise and led a march for voting rights on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama.
