 COVID-19: How international flights will resume in Nigeria - Minister



 Nigeria will release  a list of countries that can fly into the country. Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, last week made it clear that Nigeria will apply principle of reciprocity. The principle means that countries that bans flights from Nigeria will also be banned to fly to Nigeria

International flights in Nigeria is meant to commence on Friday, 4th of September.

Speaking at the daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 on Thursday, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Director-General, Captain Musa Nuhu, stated that the list of countries which carriers will be allowed into Nigeria will be announced next week.

“In due course and very shortly, we will announce the protocols once the logistics are done, the protocols for the resumption and also further details on the principles of reciprocity that we mentioned will be given.

“We are looking at a list and we are working on that and hopefully early next week, we will release it,” Nuhu said.
