The Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos, Prof. Oluwatoyin Ogundipe has been sacked by the Governing Council of the University. His removal was announced on Wednesday after a meeting by the Governing council chaired by Pro- Chancellor Wale Babalakin (SAN). Seven members voted for his removal while 4 voted against it. One member voted for him to be suspended.
