Nigerians react as NCDC discharge over 11K patients within 24 hours

Nigerians on social media react to the discharge of over 11K COVID-19 patients within 24 hours. On Tuesday night 31,851 patients have been discharged in Nigeria while on Monday, Aug 3rd the figure was 20,663. The difference between the figure given on Monday and that of Tuesday is 11,188. Initially, NCDC was not including these numbers in the number of discharged patients because they were not managed in the isolation centres. But now, these numbers have been cumulated and added to the number of discharged/recovered patients. .

It is very important that people are rightly informed so that they don't go about talking out of ignorance. I have seen posts on Facebook and also on here Twitter about how NCDC "magically" discharged 11 thousand cases in one day.
