N20 Million Naira Ransom



Mr Ugorji Eke, a journalist working with Nation newspaper was kidnapped on Sunday in Aba, Abia State. He was dragged out of his car last Sunday. On Monday his kidnappers made a demand for N20 million for his release. The spoke person for the Abia State government Chief Ubani said that the government are making all possible effort to ensure that he is release.

                                                                       The Maiduguri zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, re-arraigned the Chief Executive Officer( CEO) of Complete Care and Aid Foundation, Aisha Alkali Wakil, popularly known as Mama Boko Haram, before Justice Aisha Kumaliya of the Borno State High Court, Maiduguri, on amended four-count charges bordering on conspiracy, giving false information and cheating to the tune of N6million. After the amendment of the charge the defendants was asked to take her plea. MALAYSIA : 4 NIGERIANS ARRESTED IN INTERNET/PARCEL SCAM

Below is the report from BERNAMA . GEORGE TOWN, Nov 26 (Bernama) -- The police have crippled two internet-cum-parcel scam syndicates masterminded by foreigners, following the arrest of six people, including four Nigerians, in separate raids here and in Kuala Lumpur. Of the six, two of them are women. While one is from Indonesia, the other is a local. The six were detained in Kuala Lumpur, and Relau here on Friday and Saturday. State Commercial Crime CID chief ACP Azmi Adam said initial investigations revealed the Nigerians entered the country using student visas but were found without personal identification documents when detained by the police.
