2,319 STUDENTS BENEFITS FROM LAFARGE SCHOLARSHIP

The Managing Director, WAPCO Operations, Lafarge Africa, Adepeju Adebajo has announced that 2,319 students from tertiary institutions in Ogun state have benefitted from Lafarge Africa Scholarship scheme.

John Robert Lewis: A Colossus of US Civil Rights is Dead

John Robert Lewis, US civil rights legend, congress man has died aged 80. He died of pancreatic cancer. He was the last of the "Big 6" to die. He was a follower and colleague of Martin Luther King Jr. Lewis was a democrat congress man for Georgia's 5th congressional district for over 3 decades.  In 1965 aged 25 he helped organise and led a march for voting rights on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. Silvio Berlusconi test positive to COVID-19

  Silvio Berlusconi, Italy’s former prime minister, has tested positive for coronavirus. The 83-year-old is currently in isolation at his home near Milan, according to a statement issued by his staff. It added that he would continue to contribute to the electoral campaigns of candidates from his Forza Italia party at local elections scheduled for September. Mr Berlusconi has served as PM in four governments, holding the role for a total of nine years.
