Forbes Magazine have realized their annual richest people in Africa. A Moroccan topped the newcomers list. Nigeria produced 2 newcomers. Tony O. Elumelu join the B club with a net worth of $1 Billion. Elumelu is the founder of Heirs Holding and he also owns the controlling stake in Transcorp, a conglomerate that has interest in hotels, power production, insurance and agriculture. He was also the former CEO of UBA.

Another Nigerian in the Billionaires list is Orji Uzor Kalu. Orji Kalu made his wealth by trading in agricultural products. He made his first million at the age of 20. He later went into politics. He was  Governor of Abia state from may 1999 to may 2007. He was also the former chairman of the Cooperative and Commerce Bank. He is also the founder of Slok Holding.

Nigeria Central Bank Governor Breached The Quarantine To Fly Family To The UK

                 Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele, used a private jet to fly his wife and children to the United Kingdom in violation of the closure of the Nigerian airspace during COVID-19 lockdown across the country. The Nigerian Government had announced that only essential travels will be permitted by air across the country but flight manifest sighted by SaharaReporters shows that  Emefiele used a private jet – a Global Express Bombardier 550 luxury jet with registration number N104DA – belonging to businessman, Aliko Dangote. The former King of Spain leaves the country over alleged corruption

Spain's former monarch King Juan Carlos has left the country amid accusations he had a £58.5 million stashed in an offshore account.  The Spain authorities opened an investigation involving Juan Carlos in a high speed rail in Saudi Arabia. The money was alleged to be given to Juan Carlos by the former king of Saudi Arabia King Abdullah. His destination is unknown but he said he would be available if prosecutors needed to interview him. The Spanish royal family website published a letter from Juan Carlos to his son King Felipe VI on Monday saying, "I am informing you of my considered decision to move during this period, out of Spain."    The report against the former King of Spain alleged that he transferred a large sum of money to a friend in what investigators consider as an attempt to hide the money from authorities.
