KENNETH OKONKWO NOT CONTESTING AGAINST HIS BROTHER

The popular Nollywood actor Kenneth Okonkwo aka Andy said he is the only person in his family contesting for the House of Representatives in his family. He said he wants to bring effective representation to his constituency. Rumours has it that Andy's junior brother Luke Okonkwo first declared his interest in contesting for the house of representatives in Nsukka/Igbo-Eze South federal constituency. He has even sent out his political posters until his senior brother Kenneth Okonkwo showed interest on the same post. We gathered that it was when the family intervened that Luke decided to step down for his senior brother. Kenneth Okonkwo is a very popular Nollywood actor, he is also a qualified Barrister.
An identical scenario was also played in UK politics. Two brothers Dave Miliband and Ed Miliband contested for the leadership of the Labour party when Gordon Brown resigned. Dave was more popular than Ed in the party and with the public but Ed won the contest.
