Pakistan teachers take arms to defend school
After last month's Taliban school massacre in Peshawar, Pakistan that killed 150 people mostly children things are no longer the same. Teachers in Pakistan are now allowed to carry gun. Teachers are now allowed to carry weapon to protect the students. Some schools have now acquired sophisticated weapons which will be shared among teachers. One of the teachers even have to act like a sniper on the roof top. One of the teachers said " We want to deliver knowledge, not weaponise our
young people, But circumstances have compelled us to do this for our own safety."
"A number of teachers were killed in the Army School attack. I want to make sure that if that ever happens here, we go down fighting," he says.
