Governor of Anambra state Willie Obiano is a man of his words. The Governor has increased the salary of the Anambra state civil servants by 15%. This is in accordance to the promise he made to Anambraians during his governorship campaign last year that he will increase the salary of the state civil servants if the state revenue improves. There was jubilation all over the state when the news was heard on Monday.

Silvio Berlusconi test positive to COVID-19

  Silvio Berlusconi, Italy’s former prime minister, has tested positive for coronavirus. The 83-year-old is currently in isolation at his home near Milan, according to a statement issued by his staff. It added that he would continue to contribute to the electoral campaigns of candidates from his Forza Italia party at local elections scheduled for September. Mr Berlusconi has served as PM in four governments, holding the role for a total of nine years.

        Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has revealed to the people of the state the fraud discovered in the pension system of the state. He said that 8 people in the state has been receiving N330 million as pension annually. The Governor named the 8 people and the amount the receive as follows:   Ajokubi H.
