Japan Prime Minister Vow to Rescue The Japanese Hostages
There is a video purportedly from ISIS which showed a man threatening to behead 2 Japanese hostages unless ransom of $200 million is paid in 72 hours. The militant criticized Japan for assisting countries that fight IS.
Just four days ago while in Egypt the Japanese Prime Minister Mr Shinzo Abe promised $2.5 billion
in non - military aids to the region, with $200 million dollars in non - military assistance for countries fighting Islamic States. The majority of the $200 million will be used to assist refugees from Syria and Iraq.
The Japan Prime Minister Mr Abe has condemned the threat by the Islamic State and vowed to save the hostages. he has put the rescue of the 2 men his top priority.
The 2 men have been named as Kenji Goto , a freelance journalist and Haruna Yukawa who is said to have gone to Syria to set up a private military contracting company.
