Nigerian charged with trafficking drug in Malta.




A Nigerian, Eshiemokhai Yakubu Okhiulu, 30, has been charged in Malta with conspiring to traffick cannabis as well as importing and being in possession of the drug. The accused lives in Sicily Italy. After the charges were read the accused pleaded not guilty and no application for bail was made by his lawyer. The accussed was remanded in custody.

                                                                       The Maiduguri zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, re-arraigned the Chief Executive Officer( CEO) of Complete Care and Aid Foundation, Aisha Alkali Wakil, popularly known as Mama Boko Haram, before Justice Aisha Kumaliya of the Borno State High Court, Maiduguri, on amended four-count charges bordering on conspiracy, giving false information and cheating to the tune of N6million. Silvio Berlusconi test positive to COVID-19

  Silvio Berlusconi, Italy’s former prime minister, has tested positive for coronavirus. The 83-year-old is currently in isolation at his home near Milan, according to a statement issued by his staff. It added that he would continue to contribute to the electoral campaigns of candidates from his Forza Italia party at local elections scheduled for September. Mr Berlusconi has served as PM in four governments, holding the role for a total of nine years.
