Nigerian Army give reason why the have not recaptured villages taken by Boko Haram

The Director of Public Relations in the Nigerian Army Brig. Gen. Olajide Laleye when asked in a news conference in Abuja why the army has not recaptured some of the villages that Boko Haram has captured he said “The Nigeria Army is very careful about collateral damage, to that extent our operations are carefully planned to make sure that collateral damage is reduced to the barest minimum.“If certain areas have not been recaptured it is because the Nigerian army is giving such areas very careful plans, the plans are ongoing.“At the right time you will see the outcome; we will not tell you, of course, before hand, of what we intend to do; but you will see the outcome,"
I wonder what kind of plan they are making. Boko Haram has waged war on us and we are still treating them like our brothers. The Nigeria military is becoming a joke. We are losing our reputation in the world. Was this not thesame army that formed the majority of ECOMOG in Liberia. Just last week the Cameroonian Army attacked Boko Haram and nobody told them to run. Nigeria is handling them with kid's glove.
But our Army spoke man has not finished he said new strategies had been introduced in the ongoing war after formations and units involved were evaluated, adding that this had impacted positively on the counter-insurgency operations in the North East.He said that all officers and men involved in the operations in the region would undergo counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency training before being deployed in theatre of operation. What drug is this guy taking you are in a war and it is now that you want to go and send your soldiers on training in counter terrorism and counter- insurgency. And Mr Brig. Gen these training are done in Russia. How long will it take for the training to be conducted for the officers. That means BH will rule over the villages for 12 months or more. The Nigerian Army spokesman to me is admitting that the officers sent to face the amajiris are not properly trained. The convicted Army officers should use his admission that proper training has not been given to them in their appeal.
