Anambra State attracts $1.65 Billion Investments

 
The Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano in his press conference yesterday said that the state has been attracting investments in all areas covering agriculture, power generation, hospitality and tourism, trade and commerce etc. He said that through Anambra state Investment Promotion and Protection Agency the state has raised $1.65 billion. Some of the investors are Ekcel farm- $150 million, Silos Limited -$11 million, Coched farms - $175 million, Delfarm limited and Songhai Regional centre from Benin Republic $200 million, West Africa inter Continental Trade Centre - $320 million etc. He commended the Chairman of Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency HRH Cyril Enweze the traditional Ruler of Umuoji. He also said his Government is making plans to expand the main market to the river Niger.
