The Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has re-arraigned Chief Fred Ajudua over an alleged $9.3 million scam before a Lagos High court. The allegation against Fred Ajudua is that in 2005 he collected $9.3 million from Gen. Ishaya Bamayi to facilitate in his release from prison. Both of them were at kirikiri prison in 2005 when the scam was perpetrated.

I reported on Friday on my blog about Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke knocking out a 29 year old man in a professional fight. Well it seems like Mickey Rourke's win is dodgy. According to Mail online Elliot is homeless and it seems he may have been paid to lose the fight. I also gathered that he also trains in the same gym with Mickey and Mickey's people are aware that he is homeless.

Yesterday was Black friday. Black friday is American tradition. It is friday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States. Most retailers offer huge discounts on this day. It is normally seen as the beginning of Christmas shopping. This tradition is spreading all over the world ie india, United Kingdom, Canada etc. The pictures are from the UK.  

      The former president of Egypt Hosni Mubarak has been cleared of all the charges against him. He was charged for the death of 239 protesters in 2011. He is presently serving 3 years sentence for embezzlement of public fund. Mubarak was the president of Egypt from 1981 to 2011.

      I didn't know that Mickey Rourke use to be a boxer. The Hollywood actor fought in an exhibition ring in Moscow, Russia. Its over 20 years that the Wrestler star fought a professional fight. The 62 years old star defeated Elliot Seymour 29, a former California Golden Glove champion. Mickey lost 15Kg for the fight.

            According to BBC there has been a bomb blast in one of the biggest mosques in Kano. The hoodlums started by shooting at the worshippers before the bomb exploded. According to a witness there are more than 400 causalities. The Central mosque is where the Emir of Kano usually pray. On the 18th of November the Emir called on Nigerians to defend themselves against Boko Haram. It is not known if this is a retaliation for the comment that the Emir made. The Emir is currently on a visit to Saudi Arabia. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack but it is likely to be the militant group boko haram.

Three of them wore T shirts bearing BASSBUDS - a headphone manufacturer.

Two investigative journalists  Anas Aremeyaw Anas (Ghanaian) and Rosemary Nwaebuni (Nigerian) have exposed the activities of "Quack Doctors" in Nigeria. Nigerians you know who I call the quack doctors. The usually have a chemist/ drug store and then use their back room as a sugery for all kinds of thing. Most of their victims are young girls who have approached them for abortion. Many people have lost their lives because of illegal activities of these quacks.The Police, Nigeria Medical and Dental Association should ensure that these illegal doctors should be arrested and prosecuted   . 

Pope Francis is making a 3 day visit to Turkey. In his visit he will be meeting with the Turkey president, Mr Erdogan. He will also have a meeting with the head of Orthodox christain church in Istanbul.He is also scheduled to visit Sultan Ahmed Mosque in Istanbul. There are around 120,000 christains living in Turkey.

According to BBC a roadside bomb has exploded in Yola, Adamawa State Nigeria killing over 25 people. The bomb blast occurred in a town called Mubi close to the Cameroonian border. A spokesman for the Governor of Adamawa told BBC that most victims are civilians although 5 of the dead are soldiers. No group have claimed responsibility but it is likely to be Boko Haram.

An Ignorant white girl following the riot in Fergusson tweeted " I DON'T FEEL SORRY FOR LACK PEOPLE IF YOU HATE US SO MUCH GO BACH TO AFRICA. WE SHOULD HAVE NEVER BOUGHT YOU" After she was abused she blocked her tweeter account.

According to Times Malta and Malta Today a 30 years old Nigerian man was arrested yesterday in Malta from Sicily. The anti-drug squad found 1.5 kilos of cannabis stashed in a false bottom of his suitcase.  The man lives in Udinese Italy.

The Nigerian minister for petroleum resources Mrs Diezani Alison-Madueke has been elected president of the Organisation of petroleum exporting countries (OPEC). She is the first female president of the organisation.  She was elected today at the on going 166th General meeting of the organisation. Her tenure of office is one year.

The trial of a 14 year old girl for killing his husband and three other people will commence in a couple of weeks in Unguwar Yansoro, in the northern part of Nigeria. Wasila Tasiu is accused of using rat poison to kill the four people. A shop keeper in the village confirm selling it to her. The prosecution is alleging that she was motivated by regret over her marriage to Umar Sani who is 24 years older than her. Tasiu has confessed to putting the rat poison in the food but she said she did it because she was forced into the marriage by her parents. But the bride's father described her to be of consenting age. And that she dated Umar Sani and expressed a clear desire to marry her. The bride's father is still maintaining that it is the norm in the village for girls to marry at the age of 14. He went further to say that she is the seventh of his daughters to marry at 14 years.

        A Chinese millionaire has demolished the village he was born in and erected luxury home for people who lived there. According to mail online Xiong Shuihua was born in Xiongkeng village in the city of Xinyu, southern China and said that his family had always been well looked after and supported by residents in his childhood. After Xiong made millions in construction and steel business he came back to his village to show appreciation. He has housed 72 families in luxury flats, a further 18 families in Villas.
