Picture she posted on instagram hours before she was found.                     Bobbi Kristina Brown  daughter of Whitney Houston was found in the bath tub full with water on Saturday morning unconscious, she was revived and quickly rushed to hospital. She was found by her husband Nick Gordon who carried out CPR on her before the ambulance and police came. She is now in hospital in a medically induced coma caused by a swelling in the brain.                       The flogging of Mr Badawi, the blogger sentenced to 1,000 strokes of cain was postponed yesterday by the Saudi Arabia authority and no reason was given. He was sentenced to 1,000 strokes of cain and 10 years for insulting Islam. Due to the International outcry his case was referred to the Saudi Arabia Supreme Court for review. His wife Ensaf Haider who now lives in Canada said " I am very worried. It is impossible for a human to withstand 50 lashes a week." Mr Badawi received his first 50 lashes on January 9th 2015

Ongetenu of the Federal High Court Abakaliki, Ebonyi State convicted and sentenced one Monday Agha to 10years imprisonment for offences bordering on conspiracy, impersonation and obtaining money by false pretence. Agha, who was arraigned on July 20, 2013, allegedly fraudulently opened several accounts in different banks using fictitious names with which he conspired with one Moses to defraud some unsuspecting victims. After diligent prosecution, Justice Ongetenu convicted the accused on six of the eight count charge

African Union to form 7,500 Multinational Joint Task Force to Fight Boko Haram

AU Commission Chair Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma said in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia that a collective and effective response is needed to fight Boko Haram. She said that the Multinational Joint Task Force (MJTF) will have an initial mandate of 1 year.

Ghana Immigration Service arrests 49 illegal Nigerian immigrants

                                Ghana Immigration Service  and health officials in the Volta region are profiling and screening some forty nine illegal immigrants who were arrested Friday at a Police barrier near Banda in the Krachie-Nchumuru district of the Volta region. The immigrants who claim to be fulanis from the Oyo state in Nigeria were travelling to Chinderi, the capital of Krachie-Nchurumu but were deserted with their belongings at the ferry crossing area in Dambai by the driver who drove them from Nigeria.

"The people living on this land didn't even know the deal was happening," Orovwuje told the Thomson Reuters Foundation. "Compensation is not coming; the people were never asked and never told. Eventually, they will all be forced off the land." Calls to Dominion Farms' headquarters went unanswered. The Nigerian Ministry of Agriculture did not respond to requests for comment.

Homosexuality is banned under the Nigerian legal system. Under the Sharia law which is applicable in the northern part of Nigeria. According to our informant the suspects came from Kano, Kaduna, Maiduguri, Bauchi, Ibadan and Osogbo and they all looked and acted feminine. One of the suspects 18 year old Farouk Maiduguri told reporters at the Hisbah office that he and his friends  were celebrating his birthday. Boko Haram released 190 people

                      About 190 people held captive by Nigerian jihadist group Boko Haram were released by the militants and returned to their community in the northeast state of Yobe between Friday and Saturday, local and state officials said. "The people will be presented to the government tomorrow (Sunday) for assistance as their houses were set ablaze when the insurgents attacked the village, Katarko in the Gujba local council," Goni Mali, a community leader of Katarko said. Abdullahi Bego, spokesman for the state governor, said the released captives were young men, women and children. They were kidnapped on January 6.
