The teen that hurled a six years old boy from Tate Modern viewing platform has been found guilty of attempted murder and have been jailed to at least 15 years. Jonty Bravery then 17 years scooped up a 6 year old boy, a french tourist,and threw him down the Tate Modern viewing platform which is 100 feet high. The boy survived but suffered life changing injuries and wheelchair bound. When the victim's father challenged him he said "Yes I am mad". The father initially thought it was a joke until he saw his son severely injured.The mentally ill teenager pleaded guilty to attempted murder.The prosecutor Deanna Heer told the court that following his arrest "He said he had to prove a point to "Every Idiot" who had ever said he did not have a mental health problem that he should not be in the community".

During investigation it was also found out  that Bravery initially sought to carry out his  attack at the Shard, Britain's tallest building, but baulked at the entry fee.

Following his arrest, Bravery was said to have asked police if he was going to be 'on the news'.

He said he had been 'seriously unhappy' recently and that he had to do anything he could to get out of his accommodation.

Defence counsel Philippa McAtasney QC said her client was immature, and said it 'beggars belief' that he was deemed suitable to go out unsupervised.
