£1.9 Billion Fraud uncovered in a German Company

                                          Ex-Wirecard CEO Markus Braun arrested amid $2.1 billion scandal
                                                          
Wirecard, the German company which has over 5,800 staff worldwide has filed for insolvency after the auditors discovered that an account which supposedly contained £1.9 Billion has nothing in it. The chief  executive officer Markus Braun has resigned. he turned himself in to the police and he is at the moment on bail. Mr. Braun told the police that the money probably did not exist. The company has a subsidiary in Newcastle, England. The UK branch have also been frozen by the Financial Conduct Authority UK.
