The wait is over. Liverpool has been crowned the Premier League Champion. They last won the title 30 years ago but last night Chelsea FC defeated Manchester City 2 - 1 which means that Liverpool is now champion. After the Reds defeated Crystal Palace 4-0 on Wednesday all they needed was to points to be crowned the champion. The Reds fans were out on the street in Liverpool to celebrate wining the title.

        Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has revealed to the people of the state the fraud discovered in the pension system of the state. He said that 8 people in the state has been receiving N330 million as pension annually. The Governor named the 8 people and the amount the receive as follows:   Ajokubi H. A, (N65, 685, 491. 00) Njoku Damian (N 5,042,439.58), Obasi Canice (N 3, 460, 366.64), Anyanwu F. N (No, 150, 336. 00), Emenalo Theresa (N 3,058, 592.00), John Sunday (N 2,320624. 00) Ajaegbo E. Silvio Berlusconi test positive to COVID-19

  Silvio Berlusconi, Italy’s former prime minister, has tested positive for coronavirus. The 83-year-old is currently in isolation at his home near Milan, according to a statement issued by his staff. It added that he would continue to contribute to the electoral campaigns of candidates from his Forza Italia party at local elections scheduled for September. Mr Berlusconi has served as PM in four governments, holding the role for a total of nine years.
