IS behead second Japanese hostage

                      
A video has appeared showing the beheading of the Japanese hostage Kenji Goto by an Islamic state militant.
Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said " would not give in to terrorism and that Japan will continue to support states that fight against terrorism. Barely one week ago another Japanese Haruna Yukawa, a security consultant was killed by the Islamic state.

John Robert Lewis, US civil rights legend, congress man has died aged 80. He died of pancreatic cancer. He was the last of the "Big 6" to die. He was a follower and colleague of Martin Luther King Jr. Lewis was a democrat congress man for Georgia's 5th congressional district for over 3 decades.  In 1965 aged 25 he helped organise and led a march for voting rights on the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, Alabama. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, " "Today, America mourns the loss of one of the greatest heroes of American history: Congressman John Lewis, the Conscience of the Congress," . In 2011 he was awarded the highest civilian honour "the Presidential Medal of Freedom" by President Obama, the first African American president. He was also beaten for attempting to enter a white waiting room by the KKK. Anambra State Governor suspends 12 traditional rulers

      The Anambra State Governor had on Wednesday suspended the 12 monarchs for allegedly travelling to Abuja without consultation or approval from the state government. In a circular issued by the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Mr Greg Obi, captioned ‘Suspension of 12 Traditional Rulers in Anambra State’, and dated Tuesday August 11, 2020, Obiano said the suspension took effect from Tuesday, August 11, 2020.                        He listed the affected traditional rulers as Alex Edozieuno of Mkpunando, MaCanthony Okonkwo of Alor, Chukuwma Bob Vincent Orji of Ezinifite, G.B.C Mbakwe of Abacha, Chijioke Nwankwo of Nawfia, Nkeli Nelly of Igbariam, Anthony Onyekwere of Owelle, A.
