Audit Report: NNPC to refund $1.48 Billion ONLY to Federation Account

Following claims by the former Central Bank Governor Lamido Sanusi that $20 billion oil money was missing, the Federal Government of Nigeria instituted a forensic audit be conducted by Audit firm PriceWaterCoopers on the operations of Nigeria National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC).
PriceWaterCoopers has indicted NNPC for certain transactions.

Some of PriceWaterCoopers recommendation is that the Nigerian Petroleum Development Cooperation a subsidiary of NNPC should refund £1.48 billion to the Federation Account for unreconciled transactions.

Recently the former Governor of Central Bank Professor Chukwuma Soludo wrote an article accusing the Federal Government for misappropriating Thirty trillion naira.
