Calvin Klein dress worth $150,000 worn by Lupita Nyong'o stolen

                      
 
A $150,000 (£97,000) custom-made Calvin Klein dress, worn by actress Lupita Nyong'o at this year's Oscars, has been stolen in Hollywood.
The dress, studded with 6,000 natural white pearls, was taken from the London Hotel in West Hollywood while Nyong'o was out of the room.
Nyong'o won best supporting actress in 2014 for 12 Years a Slave and was a presenter at Sunday's ceremony.
A statement from the hotel said they were "working with law enforcement".
Lieutenant William Nash, of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, said officers were checking CCTV footage.
Conflicting reports suggested the dress was stolen either on Tuesday night or during the day on Wednesday.
"Ms Nyong'o was not in the room at the time of the theft," Deputy John Mitchell told Reuters.
The dress, designed by Francisco Costa for Calvin Klein, took 25 people 10 weeks to hand-sew the 6,000 Akoya pearls.

                 Central Bank of Nigeria Governor, Godwin Emefiele, used a private jet to fly his wife and children to the United Kingdom in violation of the closure of the Nigerian airspace during COVID-19 lockdown across the country. The Nigerian Government had announced that only essential travels will be permitted by air across the country but flight manifest sighted by SaharaReporters shows that  Emefiele used a private jet – a Global Express Bombardier 550 luxury jet with registration number N104DA – belonging to businessman, Aliko Dangote. The former King of Spain leaves the country over alleged corruption

Spain's former monarch King Juan Carlos has left the country amid accusations he had a £58.5 million stashed in an offshore account.  The Spain authorities opened an investigation involving Juan Carlos in a high speed rail in Saudi Arabia. The money was alleged to be given to Juan Carlos by the former king of Saudi Arabia King Abdullah. His destination is unknown but he said he would be available if prosecutors needed to interview him. The Spanish royal family website published a letter from Juan Carlos to his son King Felipe VI on Monday saying, "I am informing you of my considered decision to move during this period, out of Spain."    The report against the former King of Spain alleged that he transferred a large sum of money to a friend in what investigators consider as an attempt to hide the money from authorities.
