The ex- girl friend of the Germanwings co-pilot alleged to have crashed his airbus in the French Alps killing 150 peolpe predicted "that one day everybody will know my name." The co-pilot Andreas Lubitz dated the 26 year old lady for five months last year. Flight 4U 9525 crashed on tuesday killing everyone on board. The ex - girlfriend known as "Maria W" said If Lubitz deliberately brought down the plane, "it is because he understood that because of his health problems, his big dream of a job at Lufthansa, as captain and as a long-haul pilot was practically impossible," she told Bild the German magazine.
German newspaper Die Welt also reported that investigators had found evidence of a serious "psychosomatic illness" and that Andreas has been treated by many psychiatrists and neurologists. Lubitz employers has always maintained that he is 100% fit to fly a plane. The pilot locked his captain of the cockpit before setting the airline control to crash on the rocky valley.
 A New York magazine also reported that Andreas Lubitz sought treatment for eye problem. The pilot was said to have worked as a flight steward before qualifying as a pilot. Some of his friends said that he was teased and called "Tomato Andy".
The airline that allowed Andreas Lubitz to fly could face compensation claims of millions of pounds . it can rise up to hundreds of million euros if negligent is proved.
