Nigerians vote today

Voter registration in Jere, some 40 miles from Abuja, 28 March 2015

Today Nigeria elects their president and the 2 strong contenders are Mohammed Buhari a former Head of state during the military rule and the incumbent Jonathan Ebele Goodluck. The election was postponed for 6 weeks for the Nigerian Army to make the country conducive for the election. If that has been done will be determined if there will be any attack from the terrorist group Boko Haram which has been unleashing terror in northern Nigeria since 2002. The Nigerian military yesterday recaptured Gwoza which is believed to be Boko Haram headquaters.
