Okada Riders stage protest in Akure, Ondo State

                     
The members of the Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), which are also known as "Okada Riders" in Akure, Ogun State organised a protest on Friday against the extortion and maltreatment by the members of the Nigeria Police Force. The Okada men said that the policemen now see them as ATM machine where they can collect money anytime they want. The police spokeperson Oluwole Ogodo denied the allegation.

Governor Uzodinma of Imo State Discloses 8 Names Paid N330 Million Annually in The Pension Scam That Has Rocked The State

        Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has revealed to the people of the state the fraud discovered in the pension system of the state. He said that 8 people in the state has been receiving N330 million as pension annually. The Governor named the 8 people and the amount the receive as follows:   Ajokubi H. A, (N65, 685, 491. 00) Njoku Damian (N 5,042,439.58), Obasi Canice (N 3, 460, 366.64), Anyanwu F. N (No, 150, 336. 00), Emenalo Theresa (N 3,058, 592.00), John Sunday (N 2,320624. 00) Ajaegbo E. Silvio Berlusconi test positive to COVID-19

  Silvio Berlusconi, Italy’s former prime minister, has tested positive for coronavirus. The 83-year-old is currently in isolation at his home near Milan, according to a statement issued by his staff. It added that he would continue to contribute to the electoral campaigns of candidates from his Forza Italia party at local elections scheduled for September. Mr Berlusconi has served as PM in four governments, holding the role for a total of nine years.
